:? Going to work on a Maytag dishwasher, tried to find info with this mod #,and had no luck. Does anyone have info? May not be a correct number, wont be the first!

Not finding anything on that one, either. It's probably something not quite right with the model number.

What's the problem with the machine?

The owner said, the machine was making a load noise, even when empty. Hope I have the right parts before I get their. Sound like a problem in the pump assembly.

Get the correct model number when you go out and post it here so we can get more info on the dishwasher.

Sounds like you may just find a peach pit or something stuck in the pump.

That's an easy one for a Maytag Factory Service veteran like me, the M at the beginning of the model number should be a D.  Problem Soved!:D

It should be DWU7400AAX.:)
