bearly out of warranty and this unit has a serious sealed system issue

not just the infamous Adaptive Defrost Conltrol problem with the warm fridge and the completely frosted evaporator ?

Nope..That was my fist thought too, but pulled panel and evap only frosted on first row..unit had been running non stop for some time...Pretty obvious sealed system leak...also made sure condensor coils were clear and cond. fan was running...

There were no recalls or problems that will get this system covered for free.
