Cannot find info on this unit. Making a whining sound when washing and draining. I have not worked on one of this design. Also not drying. Believe it has junk in chopper etc. Can these be accessed from top, could  not get to them after removing arm down to sump?  Please advise the whining has moved to the lady of the house!! She broke a glass in the unit I found a large chunk in lower sump area,could smaller pieces  find their way to chopper? If so how do I get to the chopper etc.

Here's a breakdown diagram of the pump assembly.

Has a separate motor for wash and pump, so kinda odd that you're hearing the noise in both cycles. But, weird things happen in dishwashers, so you never know what you'll find when you open her up. This slideshow will help you with that.
