What is the complete model number and where does it stall when it keeps running and what cycles is it doing this in...

The complete model number is DU1055xtsq2. The normal cycle is selected.  The heater is working as the water is getting hot (connected in my shop, no hot water) so I would think that it is in the main or rinse cycle.

Was wondering if it was in a delay waiting for the water to heat up to a pre-set temperature....

I don't think that is it. This dishwasher was installed in customers house and they had the same problem.  The water is getting hot but have not did  a temp check yet. This is a new unit from the factory.  If it is getting hot sound like a control board to me. What do you think?

Thanks..

I have a Whirlpool du1055 dishwasher that runs forever.  Sounds like a board to me but does anyone have another idea?

It may be the water temperature... how long is forever ?

All these replies got me thinking (which at times this is a bad idea).  The water is getting hot,  maybe the board don't know that it is.  Will check  thermister tomorrow.

Thanks.......
