Thanks Reg, but this model has a small circuit board in the mix. Not sure, but I think it might have something to do with Auto Dry. Appreciate the effort though. Crispy crittered one terminal on the connector that holds the board. Wiring harness no longer available according to several sites. Would have been way too expensive anyway. Just trying to figure out a way to salvage the damn thing for the owner.

here's a model, but your's doesn't have the Guard Switch

and it shows the physical pin-out of the board at the bottom of the page.

Laundry Products L-63 Whirlpool 27" Gas & Electric Dryers

RepairClinic has the wiring harness but out of stock (7-10 days) $133

but they do have the connector, but it may not have any pins in it ?

Thanks again Reg. I think this is the one I'm lookin' for. Have the connector, but the pins are not in it. That's part of the problem. Can salvage four of the five pins. trying to re-engineer the fifth pin to accept the circuit board. Then have to find the original cause of the overload that crispy crittered it.

black/black :D

Orange/white is the main power into the board that keeps the Timer motor off until the sensor determines the clothes are dry, then the Timer runs and the Timer turns the heat off for the last 10 minutes.

Gotcha.... ain't going to be able to bypass it then I don't guess. Tryin' to get up enough nerve to try to solder the wire to whats left of the pin. This is gonna' be tricky but maybe I can do it without burning up the rest of the pin. Not much left to work with. Appreciate the help.

Only used in the Auto-Dry Cycles, not used in the Timed Dry Cycles

May have to run it on Timed Dry if I can't get the pin fixed.
