Start this washer  with door closed  .  Door open message displays.  Have narrowed down to wax motor door lock mechanism should ohm 1900 at 600. The wonderful neptune with its 157 page service manual!!  Any other words to the wise on Le' Neptune?

Does the wax motor get voltage? Does it extend the plunger when it does? If so, that S-clip behind might have gotten compressed a little bit; take it out and bend it out just a tad.

Do you have the complete model number?  If you are getting door open errors then your unit should not have a wax motor in the door lock asm.  It uses a 3 wire solenoid to lock and unlock the door.  Also, the door open has nothing to do with the locking, it has to do with the board either not seeing the correct signal from the door open/closed switch or misinterpreting it (bad board).  If you push the door switch closed does the light go out?  Do you have a meter we can test the circuit?
