First encounter with Bosch:yikes:(and hope it's the last). Detergent door, spring and acuator arm have got to be replaced. Any tips or shortcuts I need to know about? This puppy was a bitch to get into and still don't know how the control panel comes off. Removed all the screws from inside the door and finally got front cover off to access detergent dispenser but the upper plastic portion that contains control panel acts like it still has some screws holding it but be damn if I can find any more screws than what was on the inside of the door. Any ideas what is holding it in place?

You don't need to take off the control panel to change the dispenser. But the two hidden screws you're missing are on the edge of the door.

Changing the dispenser is pretty much just how it looks. No real tricks. Just press the flanges on the old one to pop it out and then press the new one into place. No sweat, you'll be done lickety-split.

Thanks. Just figured it would be good to know how to get the control panel off just in case. Parts are ordered but nuthin' ever goes by the numbers out here. Murphy's Law was invented on this rock.

Thanks Reg. That's what I was needing. :)
