THE SERIAL NUMBER IS 011804R0000001685. The homeowner bought this home with this unit furnished in deal. She claims unit is 3-5 yrs old. Does the serial or model code the build date? I believe it is much older than 3-5 yrs.  The home builder went bankrupt and is not available for info.

The unit was built Jan 18 in 2004. Still under five year sealed system warranty but good luck getting that serviced.
