Hi,

Customer says 3 weeks out of warranty, unit starts making noise like a Diesel engine.  He had it running when he called and it is loud.

It will run fine for 15-20 minutes then start making noise. He can change cycles etc. but will continue to make noise after it is warmed up no matter what he does. If he lets it cool off and then restarts.... no noise for 15-20 minutes, then noise again.

He has had it apart to the "grinder" and found no debri.

I haven't run into one yet making noise like this. Any ideas before I go there in the Morning ?  Pump? Motor? Is it best to replace the whole assembly as one unit if that is the case?

Thanks for any help.

Mike

ps. Anybody have a manual for a late model Whirpool dishwasher that might kind of match this model?
