Well I'm, uh, asking this for a friend, yeah that's right, a friend, not me. I, I mean he, is trying to get to the detergent dispenser cause it won't open itself during the wash cycle, but after taking all, or what he thinks is all, the screws out of the perimiter of the door, it still won't separate (the inner and outer door, he means)

He could wiggle it a little but he still thinks something is holding it somewhere near the top center.

I stopped him when he got his sawzall and a crowbar (he's not too bright ya know) and told him to ask someone smarter, and that of course would be you guys, so what do you think I should I tell this idiot?

thanks Reg, it almost looks like some clips on the side of the inner door, or maybe the latch assy is binding me

Looks like the standard Frigidaire dishwasher door to me.

Take the two screws on inside lower left and right side out, (those are the only two screws holding the metal panel part on).

Then the door, (front metal panel only), slides down about 1/8" to 1/4" and lefts off, they have little sheet metal hooks just like the Frigidaire top load washer front panels have.

Thanks a lot Willie - I'll tell my moron friend :>)
