Bearing availability for Kenmore HE2.... m#110-47571600

Hello all!

Ive got the main tub bearings and rubber water seal bearing  out of this beast and I am trying to find them as just the bearings and water seal.....not the whole tub half....The 2 bearings (all steel component) are probably available at a farm store or somewhere similar...I don't have a store like that here.....and the rubber part  that makes the water tight seal is a strange one and is not going to be available as a non appliance part....

Anyone got a hook up with whirlpool where they could get these parts???? The rubber seal part does have a F.S.P. part #8540347  on it but I get no results when I search for the part.....the bearings have no FSP # on them....

Does anyone have a solution for this problem???

Thanks guys for your Ideas and input!!

The bearings should have numbers on them that a local bearing supplier can match up. Take a look at this post on the Kenmore/Frigidaire washer that some have tried a similar repair. To my knowledge the only OEM seal kit ever available for front loaders is for the older Neptunes.

The seal on the Frigidaire F/L'ers is a commonly available industrial seal, I was able to get it from an industrial bearing supplier.

I know that the seal for the Friggy F/L is available,.....but this is a Whirlpool that Im trying to find the seal for.....

It must be available.....its got a FSP part # on it , but I just cant find it with a part # search...???....

Thanks for the input.

The direction I was heading with my previous post was that you can take the original seal (and bearings)to a local bearing supplier to match up similar to what those that have posted on the Frigidaire. Even though you have valid FSP part number it is not available outside of the factory just like the Frigidaire. The manufacturer chooses not to make them available for sale, my guess is they want us all to purchase the $150 rear half instead. Keep us posted with your findings.

Well......I was able to get the bearings no problem..;)....but the seal is a different story....:?......For this customer I just ordered the whole half  of the tub:(....But I'm still looking for the seal, for future repairs,....as there will be many in the future as these beasts age....and being able do it a lot cheaper than this time.

Thanks for all the help all!
