"F1-8 Shorted key (pad) in membrane switch.

Ensure ribbon cable is securely connected, inspect ribbon cable and connector (shorts, breakage, corrosion, etc.).

If OK, replace control."

JGS8850ADQ Tech Sheet

sounds like it could be a bad keypad (gookus in the switches causing "leakage", or a "near short" at times)

but at $ 268 ?

Thanks RegUS,...Your saying that it may be the keypad (membrane) that may be shorted or corroded...when they say replace control do they mean the keypad or the EOC?...or is it all one on this unit?...

Also,..... you rock!:).....and yes you were right "bisque"...lol..

Thanks RegUS!

I don't know if they mean the keypad

or the (EOC  $ 180) 74006387 OR 74007217

With the Tech Sheet, you could test each of the Key Pads with an Ohm Meter .......

will do!.....thanks RegUS
