Need service manual. Display won't read higher than 260 degrees when setting bake temp. Temp keeps climbing past 260 and display temp is shown as it climbs past any temp setting. I cut oven off after it passed 400 degrees on display. Control or temp sensor??

When you set the bake temp the display will only go to 260 and then won't advance any further. Hit the start button and it will display the temp as the oven heats up. 260 should be cutoff limit but the temp display keeps climbing well past the 260 at startup. Didn't let it go higher than 400 before shutting it down. Not sure what it would have gone to, self clean temp I guess.

well our ovens up here are still imperial, but if i did the math right, 260 would be max oven temp in celcius

maybe someone has changed clock setting and made it metric, doesn't explain why it displays imperial cooking temp though

you might want to set the stove for 120 then see if the display or internal temp cycles at 250F
