whirlpool washer LEW0050PQ motor won't run

Evening folks, this washer, according to the customer, would fill, sit, then pump the water out etc, but no washing or spinning. I couldn't locate a diagram inside the unit or in the owner's manual (which was really helpful by the way, almost every problem can be corrected by checking to see if it's plugged in or, if you actually have power)

Anyway, I checked a fuse on the board and it read open so I replaced it and now the unit will fill with water then stop. Also the fuse seems blown again as it reads about 60volts on one end and 25 on the other - I also have the same 25 volts on several terminals on the motor (I don't suppose this is a DC motor)

Since the problem seems to be worse I'm suspecting the board but without a diagram I'm only guessing.

Oh yeah, this whole problem started when a waaay to big to wash rug was, well, washed.

  Any ideas? Thanks, Cuzzin Sam

Ok, I admit it, I broke one of the Samurai's "thou shalt nots" and got the mod# off of a sticker on the owner's manual but, but wait - I did have a good reason. The machine was full of water and wouldn't pump out so I couldn't open the door without flooding the laundry room so...

There was a prefix - WHI - but when I used it to look up parts it couldn't find it with the prefix and when I left it out it came back as a Whirlpool washer so...here I sit, guilty of a blatant thou shalt not voilation and still scratching my head over my confusion.  Cuz

This is where the old wet/dry vacuum comes in handy. S;urp on the end of the drain hose if you can get to it .
