The ice production stopped in this side by side - actually it harvested once about an hour before I got there but... freezer temp was below 0 and it looks like too much water is in the mold but it doesn't appear that the water valve is leaking - no icicles in the fill tube, so my queation is this - is the too much water, causing too much ice to harvest, usually the fault of the icemaker selfishly asking for more water than it needs, or would a better guess be the water valve attempting to drown the icemaker and take over?   the lowly cuzzin sam

The IceMaker should turn the Water Valve on for about 7 seconds.
