Hey there Reg.  Thanks for the fast help, again!

In particular, the dang thing just quit working one day and my wife's getting tired of the old basement unit sitting on her counter top.  (This one's built in) 

I figured I should know how to locate & discharge the capacitor before I start poking around inside it looking for a fuse or whatever else.   Been putting it off, since the dufus who installed it rounded out the heads of the SS screws that hold the valence onto the cherry cabs.

Any offerings of wisdom gratefully accepted.

P.S.  Amana fridge is happily humming along now.   Food: back in from the garage, Me: halfway back from the dog house.

K C MS1555RSS0 mean "Counter Top Model"

Thanks for asking.  I think so...

It seems to be a counter top model installed with the optional retaining brackets, & trim kit to surround the cabinet opening.   I'll know for sure once I can get the screws out & see some part #'s. 

(Was really hoping for a service manual with better drawings, but the tech sheet is great.)
