Aermeister Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 If you have a manual for Whirlpool Model LPA4505W0 washer, and can send it, I'd be much obliged.
Aermeister Posted October 27, 2009 Author Posted October 27, 2009 That's what I said, LPA4505W0.I have stumped a Sublime Master? We bought this machine 25 years ago for about $50, and it was no spring chicken then. It served us faithfully for years (if one mercifully forgets the vocabulary-building hours I spent laying under the thing with a trouble light). A few months ago it suddenly flooded the floor, with a pretty hefty stream of water coming out the center of the tub, around the main shaft. I figured it was either a seal, or a hole in the tub, and that it was not worth fixing. Or is it?

Aermeister Posted October 30, 2009 Author Posted October 30, 2009 Belt drive. Bigger than 24". The serial number definitely begins with LPA, not LPR.I notice the tag says it was made by "Whirlpool Corporation, Benton Harbor, Michigan, USA." No zip code! Is it possible this machine predates the imposition of zip codes?
