If you have a manual for Whirlpool Model LPA4505W0 washer, and can send it, I'd be much obliged.

LPA4505W0 :ooo:

That's what I said, LPA4505W0.

I have stumped a Sublime Master?

We bought this machine 25 years ago for about $50, and it was no spring chicken then. It served us faithfully for years (if one mercifully forgets the vocabulary-building hours I spent laying under the thing with a trouble light). A few months ago it suddenly flooded the floor, with a pretty hefty stream of water coming out the center of the tub, around the main shaft. I figured it was either a seal, or a hole in the tub, and that it was not worth fixing. Or is it?

perhaps  LPRxxxx ?

is that a Direct-Drive or a Belt Drive Washer ?

24" Compact Washer ?

you may not be able to get parts for that model ...

Belt drive. Bigger than 24". The serial number definitely begins with LPA, not LPR.

I notice the tag says it was made by "Whirlpool Corporation, Benton Harbor, Michigan, USA." No zip code! Is it possible this machine predates the imposition of zip codes?
