Hi folks, does anybody have or know where I can get access to a manual or just a wiring diagram for this little refrig/wine cooler? Thanks, Sam

 U 115-RB-00

are you sure of that model number ?

Hey Reg, I rechecked and I had left out a tiny little number 1 - why do they make numbers so small and blurry these days? So, it's U-1115RB-00. I found a diagram but am still a little confused. The original prob was that it wouldn't cool any lower than 40 degrees. The coil was a little dusty and the cond fan was running so I wondered about the light inside. I stuck a putty knife between the door frame and the gasket and found it burning with the door shut but - no visible door switch. On the diagram it looks like the light is fed from the board, but what tells the board that the door is open or closed? Any ideas?  Cuzzin Sam

all I could find (so far) is the U-Line 1115R User Manual

PDF Page 7 mentions that some models may have a "4 hour ON" mode ..

Model 1175BEV ...

To illuminate the interior of the cabinet for a timed four hour period:

also make sure the correct wattage light bulb is used .. (I'm not sure..)

Thanks Reg, the manual seems to indicate that it can also be set up to operate the light when the door opens or the 4 hr mode but I still haven't seen a switch. Also, it's showing E3 now but the manual only says "record error codes and call a tech".

I took the bulb out yesterday to see if that's what's causing the high temps. Any ideas on the door control or the error codes?  Thanks again, Cuzzin Sam

hmmm...

E3 seems to be Door #1 open longer than 20 minutes

(makes sense why the light is ON)

Door Sensor # 136 in lower left corner of diagram on PDF page 4

Nice Service Function Chart on PDF page 12

Service Mode Command .. mentioned on PDF page 17 ..

of this nice OCR'd PDF U-Line United States Patent US7573701  attachment.php?id=2760

Thanks a ton, for now the bulb has been removed and the temp is back to normal - whether or not I go looking for the magnetic door switch is still up for debate. Thanks again,   Sam
