I think the answer is right there "large appliance retailer"....you will make a lot more money if you stay small and have good customer service. Low overhead, good service, and pricing...that's all you have to do. We incourage people to go to the big boys and bring us a mod.# and price and we will beat it. 95% of the time we do, and most customers would rather deal with a small business.
