Thanks very much. Now, where can I order part fo my W4800? The detergent drawer housing is cracked and so is the detergent drawer faceplate.

Could be user abuse, but I don't know how the drawer housing got cracked. It was a floor demo model for several months before we bought it....

I didn't see a link to Miele parts in the RepairClinic list...

Miele will only sell parts to product owners and authorized servicers, they are only available from them. If you call them, they will ship you any parts you desire

my first step as an apprenitce. Master may I peruse the Miele T9800 service manual to effect a simple fuse location discovery adventure. I have now figured out what PM means.
