Kenmore dishwasher stops mid cycle

The customer says this dishwasher won't complete cycle and the heat dry and high temp buttons flash when it stops. You can hit cancel and the water drains. Model # 587.16254402. Any help on this one will be appreciated.

Check connectors on heating element for burnt wires. Check the heating element for continuity. Check thermostat for continuity.

I checked the heat element but not the thermostat. Customer has not called back yet.

the 2 flashing lights indicate a power failure

if it happens repeatedly i would first check the door latch(tug and wiggle door while machine is running) to see if machine dies out

next possibility is bad connection inside the wiring junction box

a bad control board can also cause the mystery power failures
