My AC is about 8 years old just quite!  There's 240V going to the compressor contactor.  Is there an easy way of determining if the problem is the compressor contactor. the run capacitor, the compressor itself, or other component?

How's the House Circuit Breaker ?

Is the Contactor closing ?

Is the Compressor making any noise ?

Is the Fan running ?

How's the Thermostat ?

will the Furnace run if heat and temperature is selected ?

Will the Blower Fan run if selected ?
