having trouble with the icemaker - dispenser.Sometimes the icemaker will make a noise,but doesnot make ice.The dispenser ,crusher thing does not work either.Need take apart help and how to and what to test.

Ok, let's tackle 1 problem at at time...

Your getting cubed ice and not crushed....if you select crushed do you get cubed or does it act dead (no noise)?

Sometimes it does act dead,nothing at all.When you select crush,you can hear the motor come on and the augar outfit turns,but no ice movement.

Remove the ice bin and inspect items # 32, 33 to insure the spring isn't out of whack.

The back end of 32 also needs to be inserted into the plastic plunger of item #3 when reinstalling bucket.

Ok when the ice maker makes ice and you want crushed ice,the augar turns but the ice never gets into the crusher because the plastic wheel at the end of the augar is broken from the shaft.How hard is it to take this thing apart and repair it,or is it more fiseable to just replace the unit?

Its pretty simple to repair, just look at the diagram of how it comes apart. I'll link you the part later tonight.
