Ditto on Regs. voltage check, also check the 2 wires that go to the heat relay on the board as well. They have a tendency to melt internally and or together sometimes.

Thanks guys. Owner decided he'd rather put his money in a new one instead of this one.

Missin' something, good possiblity!!!

Elements - check

Thermal Fuse - check (the one on the back of the cabinet behind drum, right?)

Now here's where you maybe missing something:

Thermostat - the picture on the parts manual that RegUS linked to shows a

picture of a standard cycling t-stat with bias heater that the

standard non-electronic models use but the parts list actually

list the part as a '134216500 Thermistor, control' which I would

expect to see in an electronic control model. It is in the same

place as the normal cycling t-stat would be mounted, (front of

blower housing).

If you just checked it as thermostat and saw that you had continuity but didn't really note the ohms reading it very well could be bad, out of spec, and dryer thinks it's already hot.

Way to go Willie. Just as you said, continuity checked but didn't have the wiring diagram. Owner removed it. A big DIY'er. Thermistor read 2.7 ohms instead of 57. Thanks to everyone.
