I have a Kenmore Oasis dryer Model # 110.67092600 that is giving me a F40 code.  Can I get the Tech sheets for this model?

Thanks,

Wan

F-40 flashes if the communication between

the machine control and motor control is lost.

110.67092600 Tech Sheets

the board(s) are popular for causing this fault. double check everything.

The customer was trouble shooting this F40 code before I got involved and went ahead and replaced the motor control board.  The dryer still gave him the F40 code after he replaced the board.  I went out their today and went through the Test 3b and everything checked out. When I try to run diagnostics or the manual load test it goes right into F40 fault.

The F40 code is a communication failure between the motor control and the machine control.  So, if test 3b from the tech sheet checks out, and the motor control board has been replaced, doesn't have to be the machine control board?  Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Wan

Please let us know how this one turns out!

The F40 code might be a communication problem, but it's not with the dryer controls.  It's in the technical data sheet.  It turned out to be the Thermal Overload.
