Repair manuals for Heat Pumps

When I go to the repair manual stash I do not see any for AC manufacturers like York, Carrier, Lennox etc.  Are there any manuals for heat pumps and air conditioners. If so how do I see the list?

You could buy your manual on line good luck on finding that or ask away for free here. LOL Most ac systems come with a manual and a partslist that is kept near the furnace for reference.

A magical website with HVAC tech manuals ain't been invented yet.

One of the best books, well worth the cost of purchase, concerning Heat Pumps is THE HVAC-R PROFESSIONALS FIELD GUIDE TO HEAT PUMP SYSTEMS AND SERVICE by Richard Jazwin.

There are two versions of the same book.  The larger more expensive one has approximately 2/3 of the book devoted to various manufacturer manuals.  The smaller version simply teaches theory, component, operations without the tech manuals in the back.

You should ask the Samurai to give you a link so you can get a donation. Just ask him he will do it. With your knowledge you have saved a bunch of folks some dollars. It is nice to get free 12 pack every now and then. Helps keeps the fingers limber. LOL
