Hello! Great site.

GE GLD5860L00SS dishwasher. No water coming into the unit. The drain pump runs, but it stops the cycle after a minute or so.

When this first occurred I heard an uncharacteristic thump as I started a cycle.

What I've checked: There's no voltage to the water inlet valve. The overflow switch is OK. I'm dangling at the end of my skill set here. I don't have the tech sheet. I'm hoping it might have some tests I can run or measurements I can make on the control board.

Thanks!

Gary

If you don't have any voltage to the inlet valve when it should be filling then the control is bad as long as your sure the float switch is ok.

Thanks. I've ordered a new control board.
