Followup: Bosch dishwasher SHX3AM05UC/01 poor performance

The trouble described in this thread has been resolved. There was nothing the matter with the pump; a new main control board—covered under warranty—has restored full moxie, vim and vigor* to the unit. I had a clue the brain board was bad because the dishwasher would not go into diagnostic mode; I suppose the performance drop was because the brain was not driving the variable-speed pump at full power. Anyhow, it seems to be working now; we'll see what happens when I run out of phosphate-type detergent.

*-Yeah, I know. I can't help it. I've been reading old magazines originally delivered to this house in the 1950s.
