If I install a generic defrost limit ( correct temp range) , it comes with no clips to fasten it to the system line. Could I use twist wire or zip ties, etc?. What do you suggest?

I have some generics with no clip installed.

I like the idea of Supco, but have to get most parts on line.Does Supco deal on line?

not directly from them..

enter the SupCo part number into the Find Parts box at the top of this page

As long as you can secure it tightly to the tubing so it has good contact without movement you'll be ok.

Thanks for answering seemingly silly questions. Very helpful for my situation.

Thanks Appliance Tech and and Reg.
