Unit runs and pumps water. No spin or agitate. Noisy when motor runs.

No acess panels, so I did the old lean it against the wall diagnostic.

I've not replaced one of these couplers, so I need the advise of the Masters!:D

Humbley awaiting your wisdom!

there are 2 screws either on the front or back corners of the control panel, you remove these, then the control panel will tilt open(its hinged at the back)

under the control panel are 2 big brass clips, place a screwdriver down in the hole infront of the clip and push back on the screwdriver, this releases the clip, there is one connector under the control panel for the lid switch, disconnect it

now the entire cabinet tilts towards you and lifts off the frame of the washer

Replaced the drive coupling today. Went pretty much like the video. Mine had some extra water hose to deal with, but simple enough. I can see where practice will speed your time on this repair.

When I first started it back up it had a vibration I didnt like. Cust said it didnt sound like that before. I pulled it all apart again (good practice!). I then reset the coupling all the way flush with the shafts, reassembled and started it up. No vibrations and running smooth.

Next time I'll do it right the first time. All in all a good learning experience for me!
