I need some front load washer training. My aquired Duet Sport works great.

What kind of job task can I do on it to make me better working on front loaders?

Probably a good R&R ! - disassemble it and reassemble it and see if it still works

Bust out the techsheet from lower panel and get familiar with component functions via diagnostics

Thanks Kdawg.

The tech sheet is missing. Do I need a model numder to get a tech sheet?.

I down loaded the manuel.

:turned: i'll bet if you're sweet to Reg, he'll dig you up a tech sheet from servicematters

BTW - what's that model # ??

If you can get on searspartsdirect, look up the part # for the tech sheet (litXXXXXXX), Reg will need that # to cross reference info

Clean the washer & sell it.

Add a pack of "Tide Washing Machine Cleaner" & run test again.

If the washer is in good condition---try to get $350. Offer delivery & removal of broken washer (if any).

Give a "warranty" of at least 90 days to offer your customer some peace of mind.

Give your customer some "value-added" service. Explain the correct amount of "HE" detergent to be used.

HE: 2 Tablespoons

HE2X: 1 Tablespoon

HE3X: 1 Teaspoon

Use "Tide Washing Machine Cleaner" every 4 months.

Ask if the laundry room has a *wood* or *concrete* floor.

On concrete---the "Duet" will be fine.

For wood---explain to the customer that you'd love to sell this washer---but advise against it if the laundry room does not have a concrete floor. This kind of thing gets people's attention. You're more interested in satisfying a customer and profit by it rather than just to sell an appliance & "let the chips fall where they may".

Learn on the next washer that's actually "broken".
