Need a service manual for a Bosch Dishwasher. Model number is SHX4AP05UC

Ahh, the new, ironically-named Bosch "Ascenta" line of dishwashers. These haven't been out long. What problem are you seeing?

Manual PMed.

I would also like a copy of that Bosch manual. Thanks Grand Master.

Unit starts runs for a few minutes does some growling then stops and repeats. Then signals that it is done. Run time is around 5 minutes or so. Can get it working by resetting unit by flipping the wall plug that controls the outlet. Open and close the door several times then it will start again. The unit run time is so short the dispensor does not even open up.

Thanks

Gotta run the test programs on these to even begin to figure out what's wrong. If any component is bad, the d/w won't run a cycle. There's a tech sheet wire-tied behind the kickplate.

Opened the unit up tonight and there is no tech sheet anywhere on unit. This unit does not have any display other than 4 LED's indicating where in cycle it currently is. Also only 2 buttons to choose cycle, they move the choice left and right. There is a power button, and a start button as well as a delay button and a half load cycle. The cycle names are Power Scrub, Automatic, Regular and economy mode.

Before I opened it up, I tried to clear the status. My wife had started a load and it got stuck somewhere in the middle of the cycle. It has water in it and it won't empty. Some direction would be helpful in that I cannot get it to exit out properly and run to clear out the water. Nor will it go into any type of diagnostic/test mode to determine what is wrong with unit.

Thanks in advanced

Take a look at the guts underneath your dishwasher and compare with this page==> http://fixitnow.com/wp/2010/09/27/a-fantastic-photo-essay-detailing-the-disassembly-of-the-motor-pump-on-the-new-bosch-ascenta-dishwashers-an-internet-premiere-exclusive/

If it looks the same, then that's confirmation that you have the Ascenta... and the manual for it. Not sure how to get yours in diagnostic mode, however. :(

As for the problem you're having-- running for a few minutes, stopping and growling-- I would start right at the motor-pump area. See if the motor is getting proper voltage when it starts that growling bidness. If so, then it's likely there's a recurring blockage in the pump.

This looks like the unit, without a doubt. It just appears that the manual does not cover my specific contrl panel and the testing procedures. I will start working on it from the pump assembly forward.

Thanks

Problem was solved by removing glass fragment from pump assembly. This was even missed by a Bosch certified tech. Though his diagnosis was correct he did not take out pump and properly clean.
