Anyone know the proper way to perform the Litmus paper acidity test that insurance companies now want you to do when checking for a lightning strike Vs. Appliance?

I've never had this requirement. That's new.

Usually a visual inspection of--for example--badly burned Circuit Boards was sufficient.

Yeah usually that's all you need but the last 2 I have done the paper work asked if this test was done.
