Hi there,

Would you be able to send me the service manual for the Fisher & Paykel E522B fridge?

My freezer has been icing up. I watched the service guy remove the freezer side panels last time to access the iced up area at the back, but I can't seem to do it myself.

Just need to know the trick to removing them.

Many thanks

Tim

Oops - that's definitely 522B not 552B

Thanks for the manual, much appreciated.

Unfortunately I couldn't see from that precisely how to remove the internal freezer evaporator covers - though I saw mention of using a small flat-bladed screwdriver somewhere.

I ended up just defrosting it for a few hours instead, and will check in the morning to see if it has gone back to normal operating temperature.

I may also try (very gently) removing the panels using a screwdriver underneath, just so I can do it for next time.

It has been a frustrating (but hopefully successful) day with appliances - I had the washing machine malfunction too, but dismantled it to find a small plastic tab from a shirt collar lodged in the inlet/recycle solenoid. Again, I'll check that it runs OK tomorrow.
