I have a3n1 I use as a " tester". What if I found a burned up compresser relay, then installed the 3n1 while I ordered and waited a week for parts to arrive. Would a week or two of 3n1 use be too hard on a good compesser?

Do not wire those into the fridge control circuits, they can damage peripheral components, use it for a compressor TEST only :nono:

Dang Tuco, the weather been nasty here - you get this all the time, I would have NO problem gettin' by for a week with a non-functional fridge !

You can see my temptation to wire in a 3n1 as a temperary compresser relay.

I have pretty good weather here , not like the Mid West (Great Plains). Outside air is 29*F (-4*C).

I left a 3 in 1 on a refrigerator once for 4 days. I had it plugged in separate from the main plug and it worked but I worried about it every day until I could fix it right. I'll never do it again.
