Not really an appliance but I was wondering if anyone could help with an rca rptv.

I just hate to have to toss it and get a new one....(tight-wad)

When I hit the power button there is a high pitch sound (like an old-time flash charging for a camera) but then nothing. It will do this three times, but she won't turn on( I'm gonna miss the ole gal).
