GE GSD5134DO2WW dishwasher - incomplete draining at end of cycle

Hi folks. I'm looking at a GE dishwasher that won't pump all of the water out when it's thru allegedly washing dishes. I can hit cancel at any time and it takes the water out, but when it goes thru the cycle by itself it seems to pump out maybe 2/3 of the water...maybe 3/5...does this sound like a board problem? maybe it's not giving the pump enough "on" time at the end? Thanks as allways, Sam

Check the piston / nut assy under the rear filter cover; the rubber rots and wont seat right. Also replace the drain pump and the outlet flapper on the pump; sometimes the pump works, sometimes it wont. They can seem to be OK then back you go to try again.

To get to the piston/ nut assy remove the rear filter from inside the tub. Then just screw it out.

To get to the drain pump I pull the machine out to get to it easier. To see the flapper, you have to pull off the drain hose from the pump.
