New washer. Water level switch working properly for agitation cycle. Rinse cycle water level same for Small, Med, Large load settings. Is this normal for this model? Owner says clothes have to be rinsed twice to remove detergent. Supposedly only using recommended amount of detergent.

Yep, like they are doing on the commercial top loader Whirlpools now to meet the federal energy guide lines.

Doesn't appear from the wiring diagram that the home models have the feature select jumper/connector to make the rinse fill the same as the wash fill load size selected.

You could cut the yel-vio wire going to the rinse fill pressure switch and splice it into the violet wire going to the wash fill pressure switch, that would make the wash and rinse fills the same as selected by load size.

The only problem you run into on this setup is that all rinses are 100% cold fill and looks like maybe the ATC board is bypassed and goes directly to the cold fill. If the rinse fill is ran thru the ATC, then maybe rinse temps will be same as wash temp selected instead of only cold?

yes,

OR you could replace the "rinse" Pressure Switch with the same part number as the "wash" Pressure Switch ?

You would have to cut a hole in the console or cut the shaft off the "wash" pressure switch if it were to

be used in place of the "rinse" pressure switch. If shaft were cutoff to mount then you would only set it at

one setting, (probably hi), then rinse water levels would be hi even if you only put a few items in and put the

wash size setting to small, might as well just turn up the adjustment screw on the "rinse" pressure switch so

that it always fills the rinse to hi water level.

OR. you could just "Go with the flow". :D
