I'm trying to diagnose a problem with a GE gas dryer, ignitor comes on and gas burner fires up for 2-5 secs. then shuts down and ignitor does not come on again until dryer is unplugged, then plugged back in. tried a new set of gas coils which were not the exact ones that were in there and the problem still exists, checked continuity on all thermistors and such and the don't measure open so I could really use a service manual if available, Thanks

Classic symptoms of a dryer vent with excessive backpressure.

Disconnect the vent and run it again to see if the burner fires normally.
