Maytag DW won't complete a cycle

Customer says sometimes it won't complete a cycle. He also says he can somtetimes coax it to complete by opening and closing the detergent door a few times. Sounds weird to me. I am thinking its the door switch? Any ideas?

Doubtful that moving the dispenser door effects it, however you cannot access the dipenser without first opening the door switch ......

Right, Its starts up and runs for a sec, then shuts off

I ran it through the field service test and it showed no malfunction

What gives?

The handle was broken inside the door. If it wiggled just right the thing would run fine. But let it get shaken just a hair and.....
