Kenmore Model # 110.46742701 Sud & F35 Error

Recommended Posts

I have a Kenmore HE washer model # 110.46742701 that gives me a Sud error as soon as it should be filling for the wash cycle and then it goes to F35.

So, I turn the power button on, the door locks, and the drain pump comes on. When the drain pump stops the door unlocks and locks again and then I get the Sud error. It flashes Sud for about 5 minutes and then the drain pump comes back on and then stops and then the display goes to a F35 error.

The customer said they ran vinegar through the detergant dispenser to clean it out and they ran the rinse and spin cycle several times without any detergant. So, I don't beleive there is a problem with to much detergant in the machine.

I checked the hoses to the pressure switch and the air trap and both seem to be good with no restrictions. I checked all of the electrical connections to the boards and ran a successful diagnostics

test.

My guess is the pressure switch. What do you guy's think?

Thanks, Wan

... yes, if you can find one (or the "replacement" part number...)

Not cheap ... :whistling:

Mention that only HE detergent should be used ... and sparingly
