Have an icemaker in this unit, the complaint is that it will product one batch of ice, and no more, found that the inlet tube that runs from the back of the freezer is freezing up, and not allowing water to enter the icemaker, know that Whirlpool had a simular problem, and a fix for it, however Whirlpool uses a more ridgid plastic for the inlet hose, where as the amana is a soft rubber hose, so do any of you out there know of a fix for this problem?:?

Are you talking about the filltube that directs the water into the icemaker? Several manufacturers have come out with revised filltubes, including Maytag (the owner of Amana).
