This unit will lite and stay lit for 10 minute to an hour and just quit. I have a nearly full propane tank. Thinking possibly a bad thermocouple any ideas chuck

Does it have a Pilot Light ? Probly electronic ignition

Yes it does have a pilot and when the main burner quits the pilot also goes out

If you follow the Maintenance Instruction in the manual provided by RegUs-PatOff you will most likely correct your problem.

I changed the pressure regulator on the propane tank and heater has run for thee days now with out any problems. Thanks to those who responded and special thanks to RegUs-PatOff for the link to manual.

Good Job posting the outcome ! Was the regulator you replaced of the same pressure/voulume ? Did you refill the tank at the same time ?

Posted

It was the same exact regulator only new. Did not fill the tank.

Install a drip leg on the gas supply line at the regulator to keep moisture from fouling the new regulator and causing new problems.

Remember to drain the drip leg yearly.
