GE Spacemaker WSM2700HBWWW washer agitator not rotating during wash cycle, but does rotate (with spin tub} during spin cycle.

This is a stacked washer/dryer that Electrolux built for GE. On the waher, the agitator doesn't rotate during wash cycle, although motor and belts are rotating. Agitator does rotate (in concert with spin tub) just prior to rinse cycle and during spin cycle. All help will be greatly appreciated.

I appreciate the reply, and have two questions for you.

(1) Are you saying that the GE stacked washer/drier (built by Electrolux) has the exact same parts as the Kenmore - Frigidaire washer that you referenced?

(2) Do you have any instructions for removing the agitator (so as to check its splined connection to the drive shaft that it is mounted on) of the machine that I'm working on?

Thanks again for your reply.

Yes, the manual in the link above is applicable - remove cap to expose mounting bolt/stud Agitator-Cap-WH43X118-01260599.jpg
