Hi All, Customer just called with this Whirlpool Direct Drive Washer Model# WTW57ESVW0. She stated that in agitate it just hums unless she opens the lid and then closes it. Then it agitates. She lives a half hour away. Any Ideas? Is that a symptom of the Neutral Drain Pack, or is that only for just before spin, and not agitate? Thank You Very Much, Bob

Sounds like a flaky, or misadjusted Lid Switch

Thanks Guys, Made no sense to me either. I have read about the raising and lowering of the lid for a spin problem/neutral drain issue, but not a no agitate. Heading over there tomorrow and will let you know what I find. Thanks, Bob
