So my daughter states last night that when she closed the door on her microwave two days ago, it just went off. Nothing works, no lights, no front panel LCD display, nothing. There are no blown breakers or fuses in their fuse box.

They tested the outlet and that works fine, and they plugged the microwave into another outlet and it still didn't work.

is there a fusible link or on unit fuse that could have blown?

Thanks all...just throwing the on the forums before advising them to throw the microwave away...

there is a fuse , it is inside

remove the top and follow the power cord it might be on a small PC board near the back or on a little fuse block . the fuse is about an inch long and is white with silver end caps that make the connection on each end . fuse is 15 amps

remove and test , most likely it is bad

fuse may blow if the micro switches get out of sync and one hangs up , most of the time you change the blown fuse and it never happens again
