What's wrong with it ?

It turns out to be a lemon (Sears is replacing it). The first thought the repair guy had was the thermostatic fuses, but didn't take the unit down until they came in the mail. They turned out not to be the problem. He also replaced the circuit board. When he was reassembling it, it was working, then it wasn't.

We found a loose connector. We had it back up and working. A couple of hours later it died again.

I know there is the circuit diagram in the unit, I was just wondering about whether there were any diagnostic instructions.

I'm less worried now, since the unit will be replaced. I suspect that the unit has at least one more loose connector.
