To the Dojo,

I installed the seal kit (#7 on this diagram: http://c.searspartsdirect.com/lis_png/PLDM/10047145-00003.png), but I'm still experiencing some leakage at the bottom of the door. Any plumbers' tricks or useful questioning? No pictures or video; sorry.

Thanks in advance,

Tyrus

Resurrecting this old post for anyone who happens to be looking for the answer.

I had a call for this same issue in an apartment complex recently. I pulled the seal mentioned above, cleaned it up and inspected for damage or drying but didn't see anything. I put it back in and still had the leak. I then pulled off the door panel suspecting the gasket around the dispenser tray and bingo! Not the tray gasket, actually, but the o-ring for the dispenser door release latch! I struggled for a few minutes getting that thing to come out but when I did, I cleaned up the o-ring and the sealing surfaces, applied some plumbers grease, reassembled and checked for leaks. Good to go. If I knew that going in, I would have just replaced the dispenser assembly but the owner had renters in the place and he was sweatin' it.

Oddly enough, I got a call the next day for an ice maker next door which had the same dishwasher. While I was there, I checked below the dishwasher door and lo and behold, the same leak!
