As a authorized Samsung Servicer, I get customer requests (friend of a friend) to service LG washers, dryers, fridges. However, when I inquired with LG how to go about finding a website where one can attain official service status with downloads of service manuals, I was told such a site doesn't exist by 3 company reps. Any enlightenment here would help.

Thank you much. Why the hesitation of service techs to work on LG appliances? Just curious.

That's the $64,000 question :)

I became an ASC almost from the beginning and was very impressed.

Could it be . . . . . . a lack of information that I have had a hard time coming by; hence my question posted here? Doesn't seem LG is "tech friendly" on getting to know them, yet their service manuals are put together well.

This depends on---who you've contacted.

If you're dealing with "Customer Service"...

It's not their job (or training) to interact with servicers---most are young & inexperienced to boot.
