maytag stack unit

Can you tell me what the E2 error code is reffering to on a Maytag LSE1000 stack unit dryer.  I think the problem is a bad thermister.  I would like to confirm the error code relates to this.  Am I correct in thinking this thermistor should read about 1000 ohms at room temp?  The problem is no heat.  Thanks.

Hey Greg, I don't recall off-hand what the E2 means but I've emailed you the service manual for this unit. It's pretty good and has a detailed listing of the fault codes. Also, the tech sheet in the dryer panel lists it.

E2 is just the display for normal dry. Less dry is E1 and More dry E3. It is changed by the more or less pad. Normal operation. The operating specs of the thermistor at room temp is 100K ohms (100,000). Hope this helps.
